Location of Champlain Islands
The Champlain Islands make up Grand Isle County, Vermont’s only island county. The islands sit in the northwest corner of the state, roughly 30–45 minutes north of Burlington and about an hour from Montreal. Connected by bridges and scenic roads along US Route 2, each island has its own personality but they all share stunning lake views and that special “island pace.”
